About True Nature Media

Every place leaves a story behind.

Photography, writing, art, and visual storytelling rooted in the natural world, local culture, and the lived experience of the Southwest.

Our Approach

Places are never silent.

Desert light, weathered roads, old photographs, small-town gatherings, wildlife encounters, family gardens, handmade objects, and the people who care for a community all carry a story.

True Nature Media began with a simple conviction: meaningful work starts by paying attention. We create photography, writing, art, and visual projects that invite people to look closer—to see the places they know in a new way, preserve what might otherwise be overlooked, and stay connected to the landscapes and communities that shape them.

What We Make

Rooted Here

Rooted in Arizona. Drawn beyond it.

Based in Pinal County, Arizona, our work is shaped by the Sonoran Desert and the communities around it. We are drawn to wide skies, wild places, overlooked history, local food, working landscapes, and the people who make a place more than a point on a map.

Travel matters to us, but so does home. The road teaches you to notice difference; returning home teaches you to notice what has been there all along.

The People Behind the Work

A collaborative practice.

True Nature Media is built by Mark and Bridgette Crosby.

Bridgette brings writing, research, editorial instinct, creative direction, and a lifelong interest in history, community, culture, and the natural world. Her work is grounded in the belief that good storytelling can inform, encourage thought, and help people care more deeply about the world around them.

Mark brings photography, visual systems, technical craft, field logistics, and a practical instinct for turning an idea into something real. Together, we combine words, images, design, and hands-on problem solving to create work that is both thoughtful and useful.

What We Believe

Work worth doing leaves something useful behind.

01

Attention is a form of care.

The best stories are often already happening. They require patience, curiosity, and the discipline to notice.

02

Places are never just scenery.

Landscapes hold memory, labor, weather, culture, ecology, and human experience. We try to show the whole picture.

03

Creative work should leave something behind.

A photograph can preserve a moment. A story can honor a person. A project can help a community see itself more clearly.
